What are this year’s show dates?

November 7-11 and 14-18, 2018


What are the featured events at the 2018 show?

Click HERE you can find this on the home page. Check back in fall 2018 for the final draft of events as the schedule is subject to change.


Is there anything other than the featured events to watch?

Yes. There are horses and/or ponies showing in 4 rings each day. The show starts at 7:30-8am. The schedule will be listed in the 2018 prize list, as well as on the show schedule page. Links will be added when the prize list is out in the fall.


What is the cost of general admission for the Grand Prix nights?

Both Saturday nights there will be a $10 (cash only) admission fee per person, Children 6 and under are free. ATMs are located by the West side ticket booth as well as next to the Show Office.

Can I reserve a seat?

The horse show does not offer reserved seating. But click here to learn how you can donate to Duke Children's Hospital and sit in a prime area.

What food is available on site?



Is outside food and beverage allowed on the grounds?  

Yes, you may bring in food and beverages.


Are there restrooms?

Yes, restrooms are located on the east and west sides of the arena. There are also porta-potties on the show grounds.


Will NCSU home football game impact traffic during the 2018 show?

Yes, NCSU football will be playing across the street on Saturday, November 8th. They play away the second weekend of the 2018 show. Traffic and parking may be affected. We will update once times have been posted.

Is there an event at the PNC Arena during the 2018 show?

Check back, the schedule has not been released yet. We will update closer to the show.


Where do I park?

From Trinity Rd turn into Gate H3 if open (the paved parking lot) or H4 and turn left then drive until you are in the paved parking lot by the Gov. James B. Hunt, Jr Horse Complex. The West entrance gate is to the left of the main building. You can easily start your visit in the indoor ring that way and work your way through the show grounds as well as have a chance to see all the wonderful vendors. see GRAND PRIX night parking also. GRAND PRIX NIGHT overflow parking

The main lot through H3 and/or H4 fills very early. Please park at the gravel lot on Youth Center Road by gate H1, the east side of the arena. From Trinity Rd turn onto Youth Center Road and the lot will be on the left. Walk directly across the street and enter through the East gate, H1.
